Fizik

Onur Buğra Kolcu, lisans eğitimini 2009 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Fizik bölümünde tamamlamıştır. 2012 yılında yüksek lisans ve 2017 yılında doktorasını aynı üniversitenin Fen Bilimleri Enstitüsü Yüksek Enerji ve Plazma Fiziği programında tamamlamıştır. Doktora öğrenimi boyunca öğretim görevlisi ve sonrasında doktor öğretim üyesi olarak dersler vermiştir. Çin Bilimler Akademisi Yüksek Enerji Fiziği Enstitüsü (IHEP) bünyesinde bulunan BESIII deneyi üyesi olarak hafif hadron spektroskopisi alanında çalışmaları bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca nükleer fizik ve parçacık fiziğinde kullanılan dedektörlerin tasarımı ve geliştirilmesi alanında çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
